Catahoula Mix

Lovely Lucy is a very affectionate girl and will be a super companion for the lucky family who finds her! Lucy is very tolerant of people. Just look how patient she is with her ballerina attire! Lucy is treat motivated and that always makes training a lot easier. Lucy is definitely an attention sponge and eager to please. She is housebroken and learning to walk on a leash. She does not seem to have had much practice but she has come a long way in a short time. Lucy is thought to be between 1 and 2 with her very nice teeth. We are not sure of her breed. At her vet visit it was suggested a Catahoula mix with possible Boxer and American Staffordshire Terrier. Whatever mix she is, we are sure she is a super sweet girl! Lucy is located in Mason Texas and is set to be spayed and micro-chipped in the next few days.

affectionate, loyal, young

Yellow Lab Mix

Things turned out well for Buddy today, he was rescued by Second Chance Mason Animal Rescue and now he can find a wonderful new home! Buddy is friendly and mild mannered. He was very tolerant of our photo session. Buddy walks well on a leash. This guy does need to put on some weight. Now he weighs 66 pounds but we would imagine a good weight for him might be around 75 pounds. Buddy is heart worm negative and up to date on his immunizations. He needs to be neutered but we will take care of that soon. This Lab mix is thought to be about four. He carries himself like he might be a good a hunting partner? If you are ready for a handsome and lovable companion look no further! Buddy is located in Mason Texas and he would love to meet you.

Whose that pretty kitty!!!  Meet Lily.  Lily is a 4 1/2 year old bundle of squishy fluffiness :-)  Lily is a purring machine whose activities include eating, sleeping and the occasional speed waddle down the hallway!  She loves to be brushed, and unlike most cats really enjoys belly rubs.  Lily is spayed and current on her vaccinations.  She will need to be an INDOOR only home.

Australian Shepherd Mix

Thelma, and her friend Louise, were picked up by a rancher in the Mason Texas area. He looked all over for the owners but could not find them so he had to bring the girls to the Mason city pound. He informed the pound that she is great with everything including chickens! Thelma is so friendly and lovable. She is young so she does have quite a lot of energy. She has the most beautiful long coat and sweet brown eyes. Thelma does not seem to have had a lot of training but with her love of people and affection, she is sure to want to please. Would you like to meet this wonderful girl!? Contact us today!

Kittens get all the attention, but Taz thinks she is just as cute as those little fur balls!  Taz is a 4 1/2 year old female who loves attention.  She can be a little shy at first, but once she knows you she wants to be your constant companion.  Taz is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.  She has been an indoor cat only, and therefore needs the same in her forever home.

Mixed Breed

Kevin is a very lovable boy! He is a 2 year old who gets along well with everyone he meets. He thinks cats are great too! He has been working on a separation anxiety issue and he is doing great. As long as his people or a furry dog friend are around he is super happy! Kevin is perfectly crate trained and he comes with his very own crate. Kevin is up to date on immunizations and all that important stuff. Kevin is in a foster home in Austin Texas waiting for his forever home. He does need to be in a home with other dogs because of his fear to be alone.

ADOPTED! by a very kind couple living in Austin Texas! We love our adopters! Thank you for adopting!

Louise, such a lovely girl! She came into to the Mason City Pound with her friend Thelma. These two were picked up by a wonderful rancher who looked all over for their owners, to no avail. He did report that they are super with other dogs, cats and even chickens! Louise is so very friendly and lovable. She does not seem to have much training but with her sweet demeanor that is sure to be a snap! We think she is about 2 so she does have some young dog energy. Would you like to come meet this beautiful young girl with the stunning blue eyes? We would be happy to work that out!

Adopted by a super couple and is moving to San Angelo Texas! She will get lot's of hikes with her new family. Way to go Bella!

Beautiful Bella is a super friendly and lovable German Shepherd Dog! She will be 2 on June 23rd so she is young and ready to learn all she needs to know to be a super companion dog. German Shepherds are known to be trained for all sorts of important tasks, we are sure Bella will be no different. She has just come to us by an owner relinquish. They simply did not have the time for her. She is spayed, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, fully vaccinated and has a micro chip. She is all set for her new home, is that you!? Bella is located in Mason Texas.

Ollie Is Adopted!

He went to live in Austin with a very nice young man! Way to go Ollie!

Ollie is a super friendly Dachshund mix who will make a wonderful family pet. He is very playful and loves to run around with his people! He is a good size dog too. It is believed Ollie is about 2. He has healthy teeth and seems like a very healthy young guy. He found himself lost and picked up by Mason Animal Control. He was never claimed and Second Chance Mason Animal Rescue has taken him into their care. The search has begun for a forever home for this cute pup, Ollie!

Snowflake is a 2 to 3 year old terrier mix who is a little unsure of things right now. Once Snowflake feels more comfortable she is sure to be a wonderful companion pet. She is located in Mason Texas in a foster home getting some much needed TLC. Snowflake has the warmest brown eyes!
