Second Chance - Mason Animal Rescue at a Glance
A Distinct Identity
Second Chance - Mason Animal Rescue knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. From the beginning, our Animal Rescue Service realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Second Chance - Mason Animal Rescue. We work closely with our local City Pound to save animals from euthanasia. So far all adoptable animals have been saved! Please consider volunteering your time or donating much needed funds to the animals of Mason County Texas, they need you!

Winston
Boxer Mix
Meet Winston! Winston is a handsome 4 year old male Boxer looking for his forever home. He is friendly and outgoing. Winston gets along well with other dogs. He would do best in a kitty free household because he likes to play chase with them (not fun for the kitties)! Our volunteers are working with him on his basic obedience, and Winston is having tons of fun learning new things. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for meet and greets!
Wes is Your Best Pal!
Large Mix Breed Male
Picture it – Wes is your best pal!
-
Wes is a true friend. He is smart, calm, and loyal.
-
Wes will enjoy walking as much as you do.
-
Your car will become an incredible vehicle for adventure. (This is how Wes thinks.)
-
When you need a hug, he will be there for you.
-
Giving Wes the home he deserves could add a rich dimension to your life.
If you like large dogs, Wes is perfect for you! He is 2 1/2 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated and heart worm negative. One of our volunteers says "Wes is smart, intuitive, good-natured, friendly, affectionate and he listens well. Wes is loyal without being needy. He is a calming presence; he is “with you”.
Toby
Terrier Mix
Kisses and cuddles are in store for the lucky person who gives Toby his forever home!
Toby is one of the most lovable dogs you will meet. We estimate his age to be about 1 1/2 years old, and he weighs a little under 40 lbs. He is neutered, heart worm negative and up to date on vaccinations. Toby loves playing fetch and going for nice long walks. He rides well in a car, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is young and still has a lot of energy to burn, but with a consistent owner and training he will thrive.
