Second Chance - Mason Animal Rescue at a Glance
A Distinct Identity
Second Chance - Mason Animal Rescue knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. From the beginning, our Animal Rescue Service realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Second Chance - Mason Animal Rescue. We work closely with our local City Pound to save animals from euthanasia. So far all adoptable animals have been saved! Please consider volunteering your time or donating much needed funds to the animals of Mason County Texas, they need you!

Available For Adoption
Bruce
Boxer/mix
Bruce is a 3 year old boxer mix and is very good with other dogs. Unfortunately cats are not his thing and for this reason his current owner is needing to re-home him. She has asked Second Chance Mason Animal Rescue for help and we have taken him in and are now looking for Bruce's new forever home. This big boy knows the commands to sit, stay, come and lay down. He is housebroken. He will high five and shake for treats. Bruce loves to swim, take baths and is super happy to go for a car ride. He does not have a docked tail like most Boxer's do! Do you have a place in your home for this wonderful boy? Contact Second Chance!

Wes
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
This young boy, about 2, is a very fun guy! He is happy and eager to please. Wes loves car-rides and will just sit and hang out checking out the sights. He knows basic commands and loves his people. He is thin right now but he will be pretty big when he gets to the weight he should be. He is an owner relinquish because his owners were having a difficult time taking care of him. We would guess he will weigh in at 70 pounds when he is the proper weight. Wes will make a lucky family a fabulous new family member!

Rodeo
Cattle Dog/mix
Rodeo is a super fun male dog who was found running around Mason Texas. Fortunately some very nice folks picked him up and called Second Chance for some help. We were ready, willing and able to help this young boy. We believe he is about 1 year old;we know he is an awesome ball player! He will keep catching and retrieving just as long as his buddy is willing! He is great with other dogs and because of his playful happy temperament he would do wonderfully well with kids to play with. If you are looking for a happy addition to your family, look no further and give is a call or send us a message.
